Thank you for taking the time to visit my e-portfolio. I hope browsing through my portfolio has been a window into getting to know about me. My blogging and projects reflect a few of my interests. On top of being interested in culinary arts and the culture at Penn State, I also have academic interests in the sciences. In addition to being in the Schreyer Honors College, I am studying Forensic Science and exploring potential minors in the Eberly College of Science.
Outside of academics, I am one of twenty-one girls who are part of Junior Panhellenic here at Penn State. Junior Panhellenic consists of a select group of girls, one from each sorority. We work under Panhellenic and I shadow the Vice President of Community Development. Junior Panhellenic gives young women the opportunity to get introduced to the Greek System and is a chance to gain valuable leadership experience. Community Development is focused on creating an interaction between members of the community and Greek women. Together, we work to discuss issues and concerns in order to offer a solution or different perspective. Since I am involved with the community, I also participate in an array of service events and volunteer activities, such as Fresh Start Day of Serive, being a team leader for THAW Day of Service, and volunteering at the Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run 2015.

The 4 years I will spend at State College will be filled with roughing out the brutal winters, getting to know the Old Main squirrels, ducks, and rabbits on a personal level, and numerous trips to the airport, where it is impossible to head to the wrong gate because there is only one. I may have mastered walking up hills, making it across campus in 10 minutes, and only changed my major twice, but I still have yet to learn how to master the principal of "packing light".
